Our partnerships

Community engagement

African American Mayor’s Association (AAMA)

AAMA, comprised of 400 mayors (a network of 600+), empowers local leaders to benefit their citizens. The role of the African American Mayors Association includes taking positions on public policies that impact the vitality and sustainability of cities. Axon serves on their business council (premium level). The Business Council allows mayors and corporate representatives to share best practices, tackle problems, share research, policy analysis, and market trends, create jobs, and strengthen communities.

NAACP’s NextGen Alumni Council (NextGen)

NextGen is a thriving membership-based organization comprised of young professionals (ages 21-45), elected officials, activists, educators, and community leaders. Members hold leadership roles in historical civil rights institutions and community organizations such as the NAACP, National Urban League, and civic-minded entities. Their membership base averages 300 members across 32 states, with a network of over 600.

NACOLE

The National Association for Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement (NACOLE) is a non-profit organization that works to create a community of support for independent, civilian oversight entities that seek to make their local law enforcement agencies, jails, and prisons more transparent, accountable, and responsive to the communities they serve.

National Urban League (NUL)

Axon is a member of the NUL's Urban Solutions Council. This intimate group of council members works to identify areas of synergy between the NUL and private companies to promote shared solutions through targeted policy forums and projects. The council's work informs the priorities of NUL's more than 90 affiliate organizations nationwide and is reflected in their annual policy agenda.
